Timpview Cheer

We are excited to announce the 2021 Mini Cheer Clinic! This is an exciting event that we are thrilled to bring back! See below for information and how to sign up! What:  A clinic to teach cheerleading basics to some of our smallest T-birds! Every participant will receive 3 days of instruction, a t-shirt, a chance to cheer for the first half of a Timpview basketball game, the opportunity to perform during halftime, and 2 tickets to the game for the participant’s biggest supporters!  When: Clinics: December 7 & 8 4:00-5:30 Game: December 9 6:00-halftime (game starts at 7:00) Where: Clinics will be held in the Timpview Cafeteria. For the game we will distribute and meet in the north gym. The easiest way to enter the school is thorugh the main entrance on the west side of the school. Comp cheerleaders will need to sell 4 tickets.  January 15 USA Competition: All cheerleaders will be expected to help work a shift at this competition! We will also need LOTS of parent help! Please keep this date free!  February 24-28 Nationals: The nationals trip has been approved, and we have submitted out bid and registered! We are so excited to go to nationals again this year! Please put these dates down if you are a member of our comp team!

Checklist items can be viewed in the first tab on the bottom, and times in the second tab.  A reminder that you must have all parts of your checklist done to tryout! If you have questions about things that you thought you turned in but are missing, please email zoeh@provo.edu. Additionally, remember that all CURRENT 9-11th grades have to get their next covid test tomorrow at 6:00 am. If you do not test you will not be allowed to tryout!

  In order to participate in this years tryout, all 9-11th graders have to be covid tested! The covid test provided by the school will be THIS FRIDAY APRIL 2 at 6:30 AM. If you cannot attend this covid test you will need to provide your own (dated after April 2nd), or you will not be allowed to tryout!  In order to be eligible to covid test on Friday, you will need to first fill out your tryout application found at the link below: Tryout Application Next please make sure you are registered on REDCAP. If you have covid tested with us before you have probably already done this. If not please click the link below. With out REDCAP you will be turned away from covid testing. RECCAP Registration This step is required by the state in order for us to hold in person tryouts. Please help me spread the word to people who may not know! This is only required for 9-11th graders, 8th graders are exempt.

This year you will be expected to learn all material BEFORE the first day of clinics.  We will not be teaching material during the clinic days. Instead we will spend time reviewing and cleaning as well as teaching technique.
