Below is the links for the tryout material. It is expected that athletes will learn the material on their own! We plan on learning all choreography this way next year, so we want to see how potential cheerleaders are able to pick up choreography from video.
Dance with Counts (Front)
Dance with Counts (Back)
Dance with Music (Front)
Dance with Music (Back)
You may notice that the dance has a roll-off and a standing tumbling section. Please make sure you are able to do any roll-off counts because you will not know what roll off you will be required to do at tryouts. For the standing tumbling you will be required to do what ever standing tumbling you are most comfortable doing. Doing some type of tumbling is highly encouraged as it will be a part of all our routines this year. It is possible to make the team with no tumbling.
Cheer (Front)
Cheer (Back)
Make sure you know both front row and back row roll off because you will not know which one you will need to do in tryouts.
JUMP
It will be required for you to show your jump from the right side in the order shown. So practice with the counts shown in the direction shown (mirrored, you should turn to your right diagonal). Jumps are a right pike, right hurdler, toe-touch. Make sure you continue all the way through the clean!
