Timpview Cheer 2026 Tryout Information
MANDATORY PARENTS MEETING: Wednesday March 25th @ 5:00 pm in the South Gym
MATERIAL RELEAESE: Wednesday March 18 @ 7:00 am on timpviewcheer.blogspot.com
MANDATORY CLINIC: March 25-26 @ 3:30-5:00 in the South Gym
TRYOUTS: March 27 @ Assigned time, meet in South Complex
Please wear appropriate athletic attire including tennis shoes or cheer shoes if you have them. No jewelry or gum.
The final team will be posted Saturday March 28 on timpviewcheer.blogspot.com
Tryout Checklist:
1. Sign up and complete Aktivate Account (Formerly Register My Athlete)
o Go to https://www.registermyathlete.com/login/ to complete
o Your Activate profile must be marked "READY TO TRYOUT" to tryout
o Returning athletes will need to register for the 2026-2027 competitive cheer season and make sure all forms are complete
o New athletes will need to create a Aktivate profile, register for the 2026-2027 season and make sure all forms are compete.
o All forms can be submitted either through the site, or by bringing them to Kim Davidson in the Timpview Library.
2. Have at least a 2.0 and only 1 F on your 3rd term transcript
o Please bring a copy of your 3rd term grades and attendance to the first day of tryouts.
o If you do not meet these standards now you are welcome to tryout. You will be required to prove your 4th term grades to be eligible to continue on the team.
3. Must attend mandatory Parents Meeting with at least one guardian
4. Pay non-refundable Tryout Participation Fee in the Financial Office ($25)
5. New this year: Each cheerleader will have to have one coach turn in a coaches score. This should be a current coach (Tumbling, all stars, centennial cheer, dance, etc.) Returning cheerleaders will receive their scores from the Timpview Coaches. 6. Learn ALL material before the first day of clinic.
o Cheers, dance, and Fight Song can be found at timpviewcheer.blogspot.com starting on March 18.
o We will not be teaching material during the clinic. Instead, we will spend time reviewing and cleaning as well as teaching technique. This is how all material will be taught this year, so we want to make sure that athletes are prepared for what is expected of them up front.
