CONGRATULATIONS!!

You made it! Now what? Please fill out the following google form: https://goo.gl/forms/8RyutH7pDwLVop6M2

The form will ask for your contact information and ask a couple of important questions for the upcoming year. The form is due before our team meeting on APRIL 30th!!

The first question is if you would like to be a captain. Please carefully decide with your parents if you want to be a captain. It will take a lot of dedication and extra time, so make sure you are prepared for that commitment before saying that you would like to be a captain. If you are not sure what position you would like to run for, a list of Captain Job Descriptions can be found in a post below or in the above tab titled "Other Documents."

Next, it will ask you if you plan on trying out for competition. Again competition is a large time commitment and will require extra fees. REMEMBER, no cheerleader not competing on the team will be invited on our Nationals trip in February. Please consider these things before you answer.

Next fill out the following form about camp gear sizing and purchasing extras:
https://goo.gl/forms/qlM5fue2NRwnaqC63

After the form is filled out, if you are purchasing extras, we will send you an invoice confirming the items you would like to purchase and give you a total. You need to pay for extras before our uniform fitting on May 1st. Please pay at the financial office and bring your receipt to the uniform fitting. You can see a list of extras, their prices, and pictures if applicable on the post titled "Extras" or in the tab above titled "Other Documents." The form also needs to be filled out before our team meeting on APRIL 30th.

Please sign up for our cheer remind!

We will also be using a group messaging system called Slack to communicate as a team and squads. More information about this can be found below in the post titled "Team Communication" and in the tab above called "Contact Information." You will receive an invitation to join once I have your email address. If you do not have a smart phone please email zoeh@provo.edu

Our first practice is on MONDAY in the Thunderdome! Seniors we will have a meeting before at 3:00. We will then have practice at 3:30, and will have a team meeting after practice. We will be choosing captains, discussing team expectations and goals, and going over other housekeeping items.

We have our uniform fitting on Tuesday May 1st at 7:00pm in the North Gym. Please wear bikers, a sport bra, and practice clothes as you will be changing in and out of different uniforms and will not be able to go somewhere else to change. Your Team Participation Fee ($150) is due that day. Please pay this to the financial office and then bring me a receipt as proof. If you plan on fundraising we will have a meeting to make your individual fundraising plan and deadlines. The financial office closes soon after school, so please keep that in mind.

If your parents are interested in one of the parent involvement programs have them fill out the following google form: https://goo.gl/forms/UGGiIOBy0kHjhVB92. We will need to have Team Moms selected before safety clinic because we expect them to be there. We are also eager to get started on fundraising.

Agains congrats on making the team! We are looking forward to a great year together!!

Learn the material from the back to make sure you are facing the correct way and use the front videos as a reference for arm positions.  Make sure you know EACH ROLL OFF! You will be given your roll off at clinics, but you will want to make sure you already know it as we will not be teaching them at clinic.  There is a part with tumbling! If you can tumble, TUMBLE! If you cannot tumble learn the dance portion. Tumbling is part of our routines, so it will be expected for you to be able to tumble DURING a routine, not just on a mat.  Tips for a good dance score: perform with clean sharp motions!  COUNT the music.
