Tryout Dance

  • The videos from the front are not mirrored! Learn the material from the back to make sure you are facing the correct way and use the front videos as a reference for arm positions.
  • Make sure you know both front row and back row! You will be given front row or back row at clinics, but you will want to make sure you already know it as we will not be teaching them at clinic.
  • There is a part with tumbling! If you can tumble, TUMBLE! If you cannot tumble learn the dance portion. Tumbling is part of our routines, so it will be expected for you to be able to tumble DURING a routine, not just on a mat.
  •  Tips for a good dance score:
    • perform with clean sharp motions!
    • COUNT the music. Make sure you are on time and performing with everyone else
    • PERFORM! We want to see your personality! Just make sure you are still clean, sharp, and on count!
