MANDATORY PARENTS MEETING:  Wednesday March 20th @ 5:00 pm in the South Gym

MATERIAL RELEAESE: Wednesday March 13 @ 7:00 am on timpviewcheer.blogspot.com

MANDATORY CLINIC:  March 20-21 @ 3:30-5:00 in the South Gym

TRYOUTS: March 22 @ Assigned time, meet in the Cafeteria

Please wear appropriate athletic attire including tennis shoes or cheer shoes if you have them. No jewelry or gum.

The final team will be posted Saturday March 23 on timpviewcheer.blogspot.com


Tryout Checklist: 

  1. Sign up and complete Aktivate Account (Formerly Register My Athlete)

    • Go to https://www.registermyathlete.com/login/ to complete

    • Your Activate profile must be marked "READY TO TRYOUT" to tryout

    • Returning athletes will need to register for the 2024-2025 competitive cheer season and make sure all forms are complete.

    • New athletes will need to create a Aktivate profile, register for the 2024-2025 season and make sure all forms are compete.

    • All forms can be submitted either through the site, or by bringing them to Kim Davidson in the Timpview Library. Forms are also attached to the checklist.

  2. Have at least a 2.0 and only 1 F on your 3rd term transcript 

    • Please bring a copy of your 3rd term grades and attendance to the first day of tryouts.

    • If you do not meet these standards now you are welcome to tryout. You will be required to prove your 4th term grades to be eligible to continue on the team. 

  3. Must attend mandatory Parents Meeting with at least one guardian

  4. RETURNING CHEERLEADERS ONLY: Must have all 2023-2024 fees paid off or a payment plan in place. 

  5. Learn ALL material before the first day of clinic. 

    • Cheers, dance, and Fight Song can be found at timpviewcheer.blogspot.com starting on March 13. 

    • We will not be teaching material during the clinic. Instead, we will spend time reviewing and cleaning as well as teaching technique. This is how all material will be taught this year, so we want to make sure that athletes are prepared for what is expected of them up front.

2024 Material

Here is the material for the 2024 Tryouts! All material needs to be learned BEFORE the first day of clinics. Learn the material from the back to make sure you are facing the correct way and use the front videos as a reference for arm positions.  Make sure you know EACH ROLL OFF! You will be given your roll off at clinics, but you will want to make sure you already know it as we will not be teaching them at clinic.  There is a part with tumbling! If you can tumble, TUMBLE! If you cannot tumble learn the dance portion. Tumbling is part of our routines, so it will be expected for you to be able to tumble DURING a routine, not just on a mat.  Tips for a good dance score: perform with clean sharp motions!  COUNT the music. 2024 Team Announcement

Thank you to all those that tried out this year! The level of talent this year far exceeded what we were expecting and we had to make some very difficult cuts. If you did not make the team this year, please keep working on your skills and come back next year! Below is the new 2024-2025 cheer Team. As a reminder we are only making Team Placements today and will make squad placements later. If your name is below please fill out the google form at the end accepting your placement on the team! Please fill it out with correct information as we will use this info to add you to the team Band! Important information regarding uniform fitting will be sent on the band TODAY. So make sure you are on it and receiving information!
